Are you an experienced financial planner wanting to help shape the future of our business?

We are looking to recruit a qualified financial planner to become part of our long-established financial advice business as it enters an exciting new phase under the next generation of leadership.

The business

After 22 years, Emery Little is now in the hands of the third generation of the same family and remains committed to the firm’s core values of trust, progress, clarity and connection. We’re a business where the whole team matters, and every voice is listened to – that’s how we consistently deliver for our clients.

Combining the stability of two decades of experience with the progression and enthusiasm that comes from new leadership, we’re excited to be building on our strong foundations to take the business forward. We’re looking for an experienced financial planner to add to this forward-thinking team.

What working here looks like

Working at Emery Little you’ll be an integral part of a highly reputable financial planning team. Each planner has their own set of clients but we really do work as a team, sharing best practice and experiences in regular weekly catch ups. We have a loyal, established client base who we will encourage you to develop working relationships with.

Our competitive employment package includes remote working flexibility - we know the importance of finding a work-life balance that works for us all.

The ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate is a competent, authorised Financial Planner with experience advising clients; ideally qualified to Level 6. They must demonstrably share our values of trust, progress, clarity and connection, and always take a ‘client-first’ attitude. They need to be confident building and nurturing relationships and dedicated to helping clients to live life on purpose via the delivery of a planning-centric experience.

Living life on purpose is central to who we are and applies as much to our team members as our clients, so we also want someone who will appreciate being asked to help shape the future of the business and the financial planning team, and be prepared to input into the honest conversations we hold at the heart of the business.
