What a difference an hour could make – On World Financial Planning Day

Reading Time: 2 Minutes

On 6th October, the global financial planning community will come together for World Financial Planning Day. This day is all about raising awareness of the value of financial planning, of working with a financial planner and of having a financial plan.

Hopefully you don’t need persuading of the value of financial planning but not everybody has experienced the difference it can make. Many miss out on even the most basic of financial advice or education, often struggling with the simpler actions that will help set your financial arrangements in order, because they can’t afford or don’t know who to turn to.

Well, we’re strong believers that everyone deserves to feel confident in their financial futures, no matter what their circumstances are.

So, in support of World Financial Planning Day, every member of our Financial Planning team will offer an hour of their time, free of charge, between 4th and 8th October, to meet with and provide guidance to someone who might not otherwise be able to access this kind of support. That’s a total of six hours for six people who would benefit from some simple financial guidance.

And we’re asking you to spread the word. If you know anyone who would benefit from an hour with us, share this post and encourage them to get in touch – we’d really like those six hours to make a difference to lives.

Who would benefit?

There’s no criteria for qualifying but this hour would benefit anybody who:

– Wouldn’t be able to afford some simple financial planning guidance

– Doesn’t know where to start with even the simplest of financial management tasks like budgeting or saving

– Can’t see the wood for the trees with their existing financial arrangements and could do with a second opinion

– Has no-one to ask for help or to teach them.

What to do next?

If you know someone who would benefit from an hour’s worth of practical financial guidance from one of our planners, ask them to drop us a line at info@emerylittle.com and our team will be in touch to make all the arrangements. The slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and all enquiries will be dealt with confidentially and sensitively.
