Meet the Experts: Behind the Scenes at Emery Little

We’re aware that a lot of the time, the person whom you as a client come into regular contact with at Emery Little is your financial planner; the personal face of your investment plans and aspirations. But behind this knowledgeable face is a whole team of other specialists, applying their expertise and experience to inform, manage and support your financial plans.

We feel we want you to ‘meet’ these people and give you a sense of Emery Little as a whole.

So let us introduce the person who keeps us in order, Personal Assistant Anna-Louise Freeman.

Over to you, Anna-Louise…

I grew up in New Zealand and went travelling around Europe after university.

My travels brought me to London where I worked for over 10 years in Property Management. I also got married and had two beautiful children.

I started at Emery Little exactly six years ago after meeting Rebecca Timmins, our Operations Director, through our children. When I moved to Cornwall four years ago, my role became ‘virtual’!

I work directly for our CEO, Jo Little and our Operations Director, Rebecca. My role is so varied and encompasses so many areas, but, in a nutshell, I help with HR, compliance, diary management, event coordination and asset management. I love the variation and I’m never at a loss for something to do- I’m always bopping about like a busy bee.

I’m a Kiwi married to a Brazilian, so between us we have an extensive passport collection akin to an MI5 agent.

Pre-covid we travelled extensively and having the girls didn’t stop us. Just before the first lockdown, we got a super handsome Hungarian Viszla puppy called Baron Frenchbeer. He’s also known as Monty which is much easier to shout when he’s misbehaving on the beach. He’s such a sop and completes our family.

We love coastal walks and snuggling with our loveable, cushion-eating twonk of a dog.

My girls are incredibly busy, so between working and being their unpaid taxi driver, I enjoy (Covid permitting) going to the movies, music gigs, gin tasting, eating out and seeing friends. I’m partial to a LOT OF CAKE and the odd game of tennis too.
