My journey at Emery Little began in 2007 as an administrator, and I’ve since grown to become a Chartered Financial Planner, achieving this status in 2015. A transformative experience during a sabbatical in Bolivia in 2012 reshaped my perspective on life and work. While traveling, I spent a day working in a mine, witnessing the harsh conditions faced by the miners. After just a few hours, I emerged with a profound realisation: at 24, I had an incredibly privileged life and needed to do more with it. This experience ignited a new sense of purpose and energy, driving me to pursue financial planning with renewed dedication.
I discovered that, as a Financial Planner, I have the ability to make peoples’ lives better. I believe in the power of genuine connections and enjoy delving into the human and emotional aspects of financial planning, understanding the stories behind each client’s financial decisions. This approach allows me to create meaningful relationships and provide tailored advice that truly impacts lives.
Continuous learning is a core part of who I am. I’m always seeking new knowledge through podcasts, books, and webinars on leadership, business, finance, and financial planning to keep my thinking fresh and challenged.
Outside of work, my family means everything to me. My wife Miranda is my greatest support, and we recently welcomed our daughter, Winnie. I’m also an avid sports fan, supporting Chelsea, and I enjoy keeping fit, gaming, and exploring the food and drink scene in East London, where we live.
