As the third generation of ‘Littles’ in Emery Little, I’ve been part of the business since childhood. My journey began at age ten, stamping literature, and after completing my degree in Industrial Economics in 2010, I joined as a Junior Paraplanner. Today, I combine financial planning for clients with running the business as CEO.
I’m a Chartered Financial Planner and became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society at just 27. I’ve also completed the Mentorship programme with the Kinder Institute to become a Registered Life Planner (RLP). This combination of technical capability and life planning skills allows me to help clients build financial plans around what truly matters to them.
I believe financial planning is fundamentally about life planning. The client, their life, and what’s important to them should drive the technical aspects and investment decisions. My training has taught me how to listen effectively and be comfortable with silence, ensuring I truly understand what matters to each client.
Contributing to and learning from my peers is crucial to me. I sit on the Board of NextGen Planners, a membership organisation supporting quality education, innovation and diversity in financial planning. I’m also a member of The Ideas Exchange, a mastermind group of owners and decision-makers from award-winning financial planning firms.
Outside of work, I love good company, travel, and food – ideally combining all three. I’m also the proud parent of two Indian Star tortoises.
